There is no Totomoxtle in Vancouver, and this page will not pretend there is. The tacos are made in Squamish, roughly 70 kilometres up Highway 99. For most people in the city the sensible version of this is not the drive but the trailer coming down, so both are set out below.
Made in Squamish, not in the city
Tacos on corn tortillas pressed in our own kitchen, tamales in the husk, quesadillas, antojitos, and chilate and pozol to drink. One family from Puebla cooks all of it in Squamish. We are open Thursday & Friday 11 am–4 pm, Saturday 9 am–2 pm, closed Sunday to Wednesday. On market Saturdays the stall is at Squamish Farmers Market, 37996 Cleveland Avenue at Victoria Street. There is no location, truck or ghost kitchen anywhere in Vancouver, Burnaby or Richmond.
The drive up from Vancouver
From downtown it is the bridge to the North Shore, the Upper Levels west to Horseshoe Bay, then Highway 99 north along Howe Sound. About 70 kilometres in total. An hour is realistic on a quiet weekday; a summer Saturday, a ski weekend or a bridge backed up makes it an hour and three quarters, and the road home on a Sunday afternoon is the slow one.
