The drive from North Vancouver
From Lonsdale or Lynn Valley, take the Upper Levels west across the North Shore to Horseshoe Bay, where Highway 99 takes over and turns north up Howe Sound to Squamish. From Vancouver proper, cross the Lions Gate or the Ironworkers first. About 60 kilometres, roughly 45 minutes to an hour and a quarter, and longer on ski weekends or a summer Saturday. The market is Saturday morning, on Cleveland Avenue in downtown Squamish; leave early and the drive is the easy part.
