Our story: Yasmin and Gerardo

Yasmin is a trained chef from Puebla. Gerardo is a trained chef from Guerrero. They met in the Yucatán, running kitchens around Cancún, and went on to run successful restaurants there. In 2018 they moved to Canada. After years as sous chefs, they opened a taco truck of their own in Squamish.

The tortilla.

Every corn tortilla is pressed by hand from fresh masa in our own kitchen. Nobody else around Squamish makes them. Most places open a bag. We do not.

The tacos, quesadillas, chilaquiles and tamales all start with that masa, and the fillings and salsas are made from scratch too.
