What are chilaquiles?
Fried corn tortilla chips soaked in tomato sauce and topped with cheese, cream, onion and cilantro. At Totomoxtle by La Poblanita you choose what goes on top: pork carnitas, beef birria, shredded chicken or two fried eggs.
What is quesabirria?
Beef birria, braised in a chili broth until it falls apart, folded into a tortilla with cheese. Totomoxtle by La Poblanita serves it as a quesadilla, and as a special of three quesabirria with a cup of consomé, the braising broth, for dipping.
Do you offer vegetarian or vegan options?
It depends on the week’s fillings. Call 604 389 8926 and ask what is on; the Totomoxtle team will tell you which fillings are vegetarian or vegan that day.
