The Highlands sit on the bench above Highway 99, and our stall sits below it, on Cleveland Avenue in downtown Squamish. Here is what we make, when we are there, and how a family in the Highlands gets Saturday lunch or a party sorted.
What we make
Tacos, tamales, quesadillas and antojitos, all built on corn masa, with chilate and pozol to drink. The tortillas are pressed in our own kitchen. We are open Thursday & Friday 11 am–4 pm, Saturday 9 am–2 pm, closed Sunday to Wednesday. On market Saturdays the stall is at Squamish Farmers Market, 37996 Cleveland Avenue at Victoria Street. Nothing is served in the Highlands themselves; the food is downtown.
Down the hill on a Saturday
From the Highlands, come down to the highway and turn south; the Cleveland Avenue turn is a few minutes on, and the market is on Cleveland Avenue at Victoria Street. Saturday mornings are the time. Come down after the morning’s sports and the market is a lunch stop before the afternoon; the whole trip is minutes each way. Order from the Highlands before you leave, and the food is ready when you reach the stall. Order online through Square, pay there, and collect at the time Square gives you. The menu has all six things; Find Us has the market address.
